ARTS THREAD and i-D have launched Global Design Graduate Show 2020 - the first-ever global online design competition, which has launched as a proactive response to the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. ARTS THREAD’s vision to unite global brands and industry leaders to support the next generation of creative talent in these challenging times through a media partnership with i-D. The competition is open to all students graduating in any under or postgraduate art & design degree in the academic year 2019-20.
Judges include Alaistair McKimm - i-D, Anna Orsini - British Fashion Council, Anya Hindmarch, Heron Preston, and Steven Smith - Yeezy, plus many more industry professionals.
The winners will be showcased online this October. The shortlisted creatives will be judged and have their work featured on a new ARTS THREAD digital platform, globaldesigngraduateshow.com, allowing a global audience to see their submissions whilst voting for their favourites between 15 August and 14 September.
