The British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (BABTAC) has launched the Inspiring Beauty Awards, aimed at celebrating champions in the industry who have shown incredible positivity and vision through the pandemic crisis. The four award categories for entries are:

• Charity Champion
• Best Business Pivot During Covid-19 Crisis 
• Industry Expert Supporting People Working In Beauty 
• Best Use of Communication and Social Media Throughout the Coronavirus Pandemic 

Lesley Blair, chair of BABTAC comments: “The restrictions have had a devastating effect on our sector, which employs around 300,000 people in the UK. Life is incredibly tough for people working in beauty right now, so we’ve created these awards to applaud their strength and resilience in what has been an extremely difficult time.”  

The judging panel will comprise both internal and independent judges including skincare guru and award-winning author, BABTAC member Caroline Hirons. 

Entries must be made bu 8 February through the Inspiring Beauty Awards portal here. The Virtual Awards Ceremony will be pre-recorded and aired on 5 March.
