Jane Wurwand, Co-Founder and Chief Visionary of beauty brand Dermalogica, The International Dermal Institute and FITE, has been named the CEW Awards 2018 Lifetime Achiever.
Jane is a recognised and respected authority within professional skin therapy. Under her leadership, Dermalogica has grown to be a leading professional skincare brand, used by more than 100,000 skin therapists in more than 100 countries around the world.
In January 2011, Jane launched FITE – Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship – a global women’s entrepreneurial initiative inspired by her three decades of work within the professional skin care industry. Since its launch, FITE has assisted more than 95,000 women to achieve financial independence as well as gain access to educational programmes and leadership training.
In 2016, President Obama appointed Jane as Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship, a prestigious group of America’s top entrepreneurs who helped develop the next generation of entrepreneurs, both at home and abroad. Jane serves on the Board for the Price Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at The Anderson School of Business Management UCLA.
In November of 2018, Jane will be launching FOUND/LA, a new initiative under the Wurwand Foundation designed to help make sure local Los Angeles entrepreneurs succeed, and in turn, revitalise and impact their communities and neighborhoods.
The 2018 CEW Achiever Awards will be held on 6 November at The Ballroom, Jumeriah Carlton Tower in London.
