The inaugural Great British Entrepreneur Awards, taking place on 25 November at the Ballroom on London's Southbank, has announced its shortlist for the Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year category. The awards are set to become the recognised standard of excellence among entrepreneurs and mark a new era for entrepreneurship in the UK. The event is set to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution and inspiration provided by entrepreneurial businesses. The fashion shortlist includes: Aaron Jones, founder of ethical fashion brand Fikay Fashion; Adetola Kunle-Hassan of lingerie and hosiery brand Nubian Skin; Anna Bance, founder of luxury fashion rental service Girl Meets Dress; Claudia Romero of CAPR-Style, which offers adaptive clothing for children and adults with additional support needs; Lucy Jewson, founder of ethical childrenswear brand Frugi; Nish and Sach Kukadia, founders of flash sales e-tailer secretsales.com; Olivia Martyn, founder of handbag brand Olive Cooper; Rachel McMillan, CEO of her eponymous contemporary fashion label; Rosie Davies, director of The London Fashion Agency; Sarah Watkinson-Yull, founder of footwear brand Yull; and Tom Joule, who established fashion brand Joules.
