London Fashion Week AW16 commenced today with shows from J. JS.Lee (pictured), FELDER FELDER, Eudon Choi, Bora Aksu and DAKS, with further shows, presentations and parties this evening. This weekend sees Alexander McQueen returning to the schedule for the first time in over a decade. It will show alongside brands including Emilia Wickstead, Gareth Pugh, J.W.Anderson, Mary Katrantzou, Paul Smith, Julien Macdonald, SIBLING, Simone Rocha, Sophia Webster, Topshop Unique and Vivienne Westwood. Also returning to London this season is British fashion and leather goods brand Mulberry, under the direction of new Creative Director, Johnny Coca. They join Belgium brand, A.F. Vandevorst which shows on schedule for the first time.

Presentations taking place over the weekend include Shrimps, Faustine Steinmetz, Peter Jensen, Markus Lupfer, Isa Arfun, Teatum Jones, Molly Goddard, palmer//harding, Zandra Rhodes, Natasha Zinko, Hill and Friends, Claire Barrow, Danielle Romeril, Phoebe English, Belstaff and Huishan Zhang. Press, buyers, celebrities and VIPs are also able relax and unwind in between shows at: Grooming Room: Women's Edit; L'Oréal Paris Studio Pro LFW re-style and re-fuel hangout; Amba Hotel Refresh & Recharge Lounge; and Max Centini LFW Hair Styling Suite.

Evening events this weekend include: Urban Outfitters x Centrefold magazine launch party, to showcase their collaboration of artists from around the world in a limited edition coffee table magazine; Matchesfashion.com Dinner with Isa Arfen; GTM Models & PA5H LFW Party; London's Fabulous Fund Fair, hosted by Natalia Vodianova & Karlie Kloss to benefit the Naked Heart Foundation; L'Oréal Paris x Gareth Pugh Party; rewardStyle & LIKEtoKNOW.it LFW Party; Fashions Finest Show Networking Party; and River Island Fashion Film in Collaboration with i-D.
