Reiss has announced a phased reopening of select UK stores, from 15 June. The announcement follows the latest advice from the British Government and the successful reopening of select stores in Europe. The initial phase for the UK will see Reiss reopen 26 stores across the country, including both stand-alone and outlet stores, implementing a number of health and safety procedures that comply with government guidelines.
Safety measures will include restricting the number of customers in-store at any one time with clear social distancing measure and markers, hand sanitising stations at the entrance of stores, protective wear for staff with new cleaning rotations in place and there will be limits on fitting room usage with protective wear available such as pop socks for trying on shoes. In addition, there will be reduced opening hours, contactless payments and all staff will undergo team training.
To finalise the preparations, the brand has also completed a risk assessment by an independent body, to confirm all safety measures adhere to the government’s guidelines.
The first phase of reopening will commence from 15 June with phase II set to follow a few weeks later.
