The shortlist has been announced for The Jasmine Awards 2016. The awards recognise and reward the talents of journalists and visualisers who translate the art of perfumery into words and pictures. Finalists include: Fiona Embleton in the Literary category for her Chemistry Notes feature for Stylist; Anita Bhagwandas in the Visual category for Animal Magnetism in Marie Claire; Lucy Pavia in the Most Visual category for her Instyle piece, What does pleasure smell like?; Joely Walker in the Soundbite Magazine category for Where Have all The Summer Scents Gone? published in Grazia; Sali Hughes for the Soundbite News category for her piece on Daytime Scents for Guardian Weekend; Josephine Fairley for the Practical Guide category for Perfume Notes: What's the Difference Between a Cologne, Eau de Toilette and Parfum?, published on telegraph.co.uk; Vicci Bentley from Boots Health & Beauty for the Customer category with her Could the Right Perfume Get you a Promotion? feature; Kim Parker from redonline.co.uk in the Digital category for her How to Build a Fragrance Wardrobe; Suzy Nightingale from The Perfume Society for Ditch the Slippers! Father's Day Fragrance Ideas for Modern Day Dads; Persolaise for Wannabe Weird - Searching For Strangeness in the Mainstream; Katie Chutzpah for Independent Soundbite with her piece on Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme - The 'It' Perfume of 2015; and Shannon Peter, from Stylist, for the Rising Star category for her A Perfumer's Business Card feature.
