TikTok has announced the first recipients of its TikTok Creator Fund in Europe of $70 million (£54m). The fund was introduced last month as a means to give talented individuals the opportunity to turn their creativity into a career. The initial recipients of the fund include:

@Florence.Simpson - Flo is a body confidence warrior based in Portsmouth. 

@MenWithThePot - two friends Slawek and Krzysiek, live in Northern Ireland and love cooking in the great outdoors. 

@ShericeBanton - Sherice is a rising TikTok star and comedian, hailing from Bedford and sharing her take on the world. 

@MakeupbyTammi - Tammi is an emerging make-up content creator from London, using TikTok to help beauty lovers put together incredible make-up looks on a budget. She also has her own line of eye cake liners, brushes and faux lashes.

@HollyH - 23-year-old Holly from Guernsey has been creating snappy videos and posting them online since she was 16. With over 16.7 million followers, she is one of TikTok's biggest success stories.

@TimDessaint - London-based Tim Dessaint is a men's fashion and lifestyle content creator. 

@AbbyArtistry - Make-up artist Abby Roberts from Leeds combines make-up and art to create iconic transformations. 

@Lia.Lewis - Lia is a freestyle footballer hoping to inspire more young women to get into the sport. 

@jamesllewis - James Lewis is an artist based in Wales, who combines calligraphy and painting to create standout, graphical art.
