The shortlists for the 2016 BSME Awards have been announced for the following categories: 

- Editors of the Year

- The Fiona Macpherson New Editor of the Year 

- Art Directors of the Year

- Launch of the Year

- Columnists of the Year 

- Scoop of the Year

The shortlists for the final four Awards categories – Innovation/Brand-Building, Campaign of the Year and the two Cover of the Year Awards – will be announced mid-October. These Awards, together with the Society’s Mark Boxer Award for exceptional contribution to the industry and the Editors’ Editor Award, voted on by members of the BSME, will be presented at The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel in Piccadilly on 15 November.
