The LGBTQ+ community continues to make strides for inclusivity in industries such as fashion, beauty and entertainment. However, recent months has taught us that there is still work that needs to be done in terms of representation, especially for the Black LGBTQ+ community.
Here are five fashion and beauty brands that are giving back to LGBTQ+ charities.
Online fashion retailers boohoo & boohooMAN will be launching their latest Pride collection. This year the overarching concept of unity will be reflected in the collection. The inspiration behind the collection and messaging derives from uniting as a community and standing together in spirit even when we physically are unable to.
The range sees a neutral, monochrome colour palette and streetwear silhouettes mixed with slogan prints and rainbow accents. boohoo & boohooMAN will be donating £10k each to Outright Action International, The Brighton Rainbow Fund and a further £10k to The Marsha P. Johnson Institute - a charity that protects and defends the human rights of Black transgender people.
