adidas by Stella McCartney has as part of one of its SS21 campaign and collection, FUTUREPLAYGROUND, handed over full creative rein to a female creators Netti Hurley, Monika Mogi and Anna Pollack who have photographed inspirational activists for the “conscious campaign.”
The campaign marks the launch of the FUTUREPLAYGROUND performance collection inspired by ‘land’, taking design cues from street sports and the female skate crews often donned in bold, clashing and expressive prints. FUTUREPLAYGROUND has been made for a generation that cares deeply about their environmental impact, the collection has sustainability at its heart as part of adidas by Stella McCartney’s enduring ambition to end plastic waste.
Speaking about the campaign and collection, Stella McCartney said: “Young people today are so full of creative ideas and have an incredible energy, and so I think it’s really important to give them opportunities to share their work and vision – but also, we can all learn so much from them."
