Alexander Wang has been appointed CEO and Chairman of his eponymous label, in addition to continuing his role as Creative Director. Alexander founded the brand with his mother Ying, his sister-in-law Aimie and his brother Dennis 11 years ago. Following his role as Creative Director of Balenciaga, Alexander Wang returned full-time to New York in September 2015 to focus on the growth of his brand. This appointment is in-line with the continued strategic growth for the organisation.

Ying Wang is stepping down as Chairwoman. Aimie Wang is relinquishing her role as CEO, thus yielding day-to-day responsibilities. Both will remain board members and shareholders. Dennis Wang continues as an Advisor to Alexander Wang. Additionally, Caroline Wang has been recently appointed Executive Vice Chairman and Mary Wang, has been appointed Executive Vice President.
