Allurion are the makers of the Elipse Balloon – the world’s first and only procedureless intragastric balloon for safe and effective weight loss. The balloon helps to kick-start a weight-loss programme, with the patient feeling full and eating less, combined with continuous monitoring from the Allurion app and smart scales, as well as support and nutritional guidance from a nutritionist. After 16 weeks the balloon naturally deflates and passes out painlessly through the GI tract.
