Each year b. the communications agency pledges to help make a positive change industry wide, through their commitment to reform the industry from a grassroots level through education and promotion of Black Creators, Black-founded businesses. Since the launch of their first pro-bono scheme in 2020, the agency has worked alongside and represented brands including Dee’s Basement, Base Plus, LIHA Beauty, Half Baked London and has continued to work alongside the Taylor Bennett Foundation; A charity that exists to encourage people from a Black, Asian and minority ethnic background to pursue a career in communications.
Together, b. the communications agency Founder and CEO, Sally-Anne Stevens, and Co-Owner and Managing Partner, Holly Brunksill, announce that their Pro Bono scheme is back for its third year and accepting applications for 2023, providing content and communications services to a Black-founded brand. Entries details and key dates are outlined below.
Submission close on 30 September and will be reviewed by the b. diversity board and directors from 1 October - 15 October. All companies are to be notified by Monday 19 October and five successful applicants will be selected to give a final presentation to Diversity Board and Directors on 24 November 2022. Chosen Company to be Awarded Pro Bono PR/Content 2022 on 8 December 2022. Updates and details will all be available at @b_theagency.
