Barbour has announced the appointment of Sam Heughan as its first Global Brand Ambassador. Scottish born Sam Heughan is best known for starring in Outlander and as part of the partnership and to kick start the activity, Sam will develop his own signature capsule collection. The line will incorporate Barbour’s exclusive tartans which are based on the Ayrshire District Tartan from where the Barbour family originated in the 13th century.
