Bauer Media UK has announced that Steve Prentice has been appointed managing director of the company’s Sport and Women’s Specialist portfolio.
Reporting to Sam Gallimore, subscriptions director & managing director, Women’s Specialist and Hobbies, Steve will take publishing responsibility for titles including Garden Answers, Garden News, Modern Gardens, LandScape, Spirit & Destiny and Take A Break’s Fate & Fortune as well as consumer events Mother & Baby Awards, and more.
Steve is a senior executive with 20 years’ experience in cross-platform media, leading and developing digital and print businesses. He joins from TI Media/Future Publishing where he worked as managing director of Country Life and Cycling Weekly over the past four years.
Steve will commence the role 18 January 2021. He replaces Oswin Grady who joined Bauer Media in May 2019 and is leaving the business to pursue other interests.
