The BBC and ITV have announced that they are collaborating to launch BritBox. This will be a brand new subscription service, which will rival content streaming service Netflix. Shows like Love Island, Gavin & Stacey, Gentleman Jack, and Braodchurch will feature on BritBox. New programmes will also be made specifically for BritBox.
BBC Director-General, Tony Hall has said: "These are exciting times for people who love quality TV."
BritBox will cost £5.99 per month in HD and will launch between October and December.
