South African beauty salon franchise Sorbet has appointed The Spa PR Company to handle its UK communications as the brand makes its UK debut. The beauty chain, founded by South African entrepreneur Ian Fuhr, will open its first UK Sorbet Salon in Muswell Hill, London this September with plans to open two further company owned salons in 2016, and thereafter considering franchise options. Sorbet offers a menu of manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, body waxes, massages and facials. Sorbet will have a keen focus on its retail offering from its two flagship product houses Dermalogica and Environ. The company also has its own Sorbet salon range, currently being approved by the UK regulatory board, soon to be unveiled within the UK.
