Because London have launched a new retail feature using 3D image technology that allows the viewer to walk through the store digitally for their regular Store Stories editorial pillar.
Viewers will be able to travel around the entire shop floor and interact with hotspots of product information. Whether it be a video from the shop founder explaining the concept behind the boutique, or shoppable links to featured products, these 3D virtual (and shoppable) tours are a new way to bring a global audience direct to our local shops.
Models can be captured throughout the store, either wearing store stock or interacting with objects. These can be hyperlinked to the store’s own e-commerce, and can layer quotes from buyers or creative directors about its provenance and craft. Entirely shoppable where highlighted, Store Stories celebrates retail excellence in a shareable, entirely realistic way for all, near and far, to enjoy.
