Bonmarché has gone into administration again. The fashion retailer was bought up a few months ago and it is just over a year since its last collapse. Bonmarché represents the third major high street brand to collapse in as many days, with Debenhams' closure and Arcadia Group calling in Deloitte administrators.
BM Retail Limited and RSM Restructuring Advisory have been appointed to handle Bonmarché's administration. Sky News has reported that the brand has said that it will continue to trade normally from its 225 stores while a buyer is sought. It was also reported that this news leaves 1,500 jobs at risk on top of the 25,000 already announced this week at the larger chains.
