British luxury sustainable fashion brand Bottletop has announced that it has joined the UNFCCC’s Fashion for Global Climate Action initiative as a signatory to the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action. The Fashion for Global Climate Action initiative calls on the Fashion industry to acknowledge the contribution of the sector to climate change and our responsibility to strive towards climate neutrality for a safer planet.

By signing the Charter, Bottletop has demonstrated its commitment to playing its part to ensure the fashion sector is on the path to a low-carbon future. In line with the principles and targets enshrined in the Charter and the aims of the Paris Agreement, Bottletop commits to a 30% GHG emissions reduction by 2030 and it will aim towards the decarbonization of its production phase, selection of climate-friendly and sustainable materials, low-carbon transport, improved consumer dialogue and awareness, and will work with the financing community and policymakers to catalyze scalable solutions, and explore circular business models.
