The shortlists for this year’s British Society of Magazine Editors’ Awards were announced today for the following categories: Editors of the Year; Digital Editors of the Year; Launch of the Year; The Fiona Macpherson New Editor of the Year; Art Directors of the Year; Columnists of the Year; and Scoop of the Year. The full shortlist can be viewed here. The shortlists for the final four Awards categories – Innovation/Brand-Building, Campaign of the Year and the two new Cover of the Year Awards – will be announced mid-October. These Awards, together with the Society’s Mark Boxer Award for exceptional contribution to the industry and the Editors’ Editor Award, voted on by members of the BSME, will be presented at The Brewery in London on 16 November.
