C.A.K.E Cosmetics has announced that it has closed. In a statement, the brand said: "With everything that has been happening we have decided that our amazing company can no longer carry on." 

The brand was formed six years ago to support women and men of colour who were not represented by the beauty industry. It was one of the first UK affordable brands that catered to a deeper skin tone. 

The brand went on to say: "We would like to thank you all for your support and belief. This was not an easy decision. We would like to thank the following who have supported us since day 1, without you people wouldn't have known us."
