Looks Like Me is a new children's talent/model agency raising the profile of underrepresented groups featured in advertising. The agency has been founded by Selma Nicholls, motivated by Riley-Ann, her three-year-old daughter questioning her own identity due to the limited visibility of children that looked like her on the big screen, magazines, and advertising.
Looks Like Me has secured a Start Up Loan of £7000 from Sir Richard Branson's Virgin StartUp company, to get the agency off the ground. Models have been booked for advertising campaigns which include Next, Mini Khumalo and Creative Soul photography, while 500 subscribers have signed up prior to launching.
