Global hair tools brand Cloud Nine has expanded its industry-first recycling scheme, adding hairdryers and curling wands to the list of tools you can recycle, free of charge via its website cloudninehair.com. To date Cloud Nine has recycled over 50,000 straightening irons and is committed to recycling 1.5m tools by 2022 to counteract the 2 million tonnes of electrical waste generated each year, 80% of which is not recycled. 

What's more, for every tool recycled, Cloud Nine will give customers 10% for the month of April, to celebrate World Earth Day. Additionally, for every purchase in April, Cloud Nine will plant 10 trees through its partnership with Ecologi and customers will receive a plastic-free water bottle to encourage consumers to use less plastic.
