The Financial Times and Condé Nast Britain are amongst publishers temporarily closing their offices to support efforts to slow the spread of coronavirus, Covid-19. Reach plc has also implemented working from home regulations, affecting publications including the Mirror, Express and Star. In addition, SheerLuxe.com has announced on its Instagram account that staff will be working remotely; and Hearst UK has released a statement advising its employees to work from home for the remainder of March.
As the government enters the 'delay phase' of the Coronavirus Action Plan it can be expected that more media title staff will be working from home more frequently.
