COS has announced that it has partnered with the Renewal Workshop, an innovative provider of upcycling solutions for the apparel and textile industry. As part of the brand's commitment to longevity and product care, COS wanted to re-imagine the lifecycle of damaged garments be investing in the restoration of COS pieces, sourced from its own supply-chain or returned by customers.
Supported by The Laboratory, H&M Group’s innovation division, this trial will see 300 COS pieces restored and retailed at a reduced price, in select stores in Germany, The Netherlands, and Sweden. The collection will be labelled Restore and will include pieces from the last two seasons of womenswear, menswear and accessories, displayed in a dedicated section of the store. Repairs will include replacement fastenings and zips, darned knitwear and the removal of any marks or visible use.
Restore is now available for approximately one month.
