Former deputy features editor Katy Birchall has left Country Life magazine to become a full-time author, with her third book in teen series The It Girl coming out in January, and a new series coming out next year, both with Egmont publishers. She will still be doing some general features freelance writing and would particular welcome commissions on children's, YA and adult books and round ups.
