Notting Hill-based concept store Couverture has announced the launch of its first own brand beauty and home fragrance collection. Launching in-store in October, the line will consist of a candle, perfume oil and incense. With an emphasis on no added chemicals, the products are housed in vintage-inspired dark brown bottles reminiscent of ancient Turkish ceramics with an outer packaging of green pattern tiles. With scents mirrored across the candle, perfume and incense, the fragrance opens with top notes of bergamot and pink pepper, alongside a diffusion of orange leaves and a green aromatic touch. The heart contains notes of rose and geranium, which blend to highlight the main note of ginger. Mimosa sits alongside beeswax and cassius bark, while black tea and ylang ylang lead to a base that incorporates undertones of leather, tobacco, cedar, patchouli and frankincense. The collection will be available to exclusively at Couverture and the Garbstore, with prices starting at £45 for the perfume oil, £55 for the candle and £40 for the incense. To celebrate the launch, the brand will be holding a press event on 25 June (see DIARY dates).
