Dazed Media has announced that Claire Marie Healy, editor of Dazed, is stepping down.

Having joined Dazed as print features editor in 2015, Claire rose to the position of editor, a title she held from 2019-2021. There, she shaped the editorial direction of the title and profiled notable figures such as Chloë Sevigny, Isabelle Huppert, Sofia Coppola, Tavi Gevinson and Gregg Araki.

Claire will continue in her role as contributing editor for AnOther, where she writes her popular column Girlhood Studies. Elsewhere, her journalism and essays have appeared in Dazed, Another Man, Port, SSENSE, Elephant, Buffalo Zine, Little White Lies, and more.

Alongside freelance writing and brand consultancy, in 2021 Healy is working on her first book, a timely exploration of girlhood in film and visual culture. She is also the deputy editor of the forthcoming Rizzoli book to celebrate Dazed's 30th Anniversary, which will be published in September 2021.

Claire Marie Healy’s final issue of Dazed will be published in February 2021.
