Farhad Heydari, editor of NetJets Magazine and international executive editor of American Express' lifestyle magazines' Departures, Centurion and The Compendium has announced that he will be stepping down from his role. He will remain a consultant for the trio of Amex magazines but will cede day-to-day control to his Munich-based colleagues.
In an Instagram post, Farhad said that he made the decision long before the Coronavirus pandemic. He has worked with Amex Publishing for over 20 years, during which he has assisted in the launch of new markets and titles such as The Compendium by Centurion.
Farhad will remain in his position as editor of NetJets Magazine and said in an Instagram post that he is "excited by the lure of new possibilities and opportunities that beckon beyond custom publishing.".
