DeVries Global has announced the promotions of Helena Bloomer to Regional MD, Europe, and Gemma Chaldecott to Deputy Managing Director, UK, following a record year of growth for DeVries SLAM, which heralded multiple new client wins, including Quaker Oats, Berlei, Krispy Kreme and Godiva coupled with significant growth across its core businesses.
Helena Bloomer’s new position as Regional Managing Director, Europe expands her scope to greater responsibility for agency growth and capability across the region. This will include leveraging unique models for servicing world-class clients across the geography, as demonstrated with the UK office’s work for iconic lighter brand Zippo across European, American and Asian markets.
Prior to her new role, Gemma Chaldecott served as Head of Brand Strategy for DeVries SLAM. She was a leading force across existing client and new business endeavours, spearheading work with Beats by Dr Dre, Tanqueray Gin and PepsiCo. As Deputy Managing Director, Gemma assumes day-to-day operational oversight of the UK office, including agency marketing, talent management, new business and financial duties.
