Last week, DIARY directory hosted its first event, supported by Endaba Group, aimed at small beauty brand founders, 'Looking To Grow Your Beauty Business?'.

Held in members club 12 Hay Hill (Mayfair, London), we welcomed over 60 beauty brands who enjoyed a panel discussion with key industry experts, followed by a Q&A and networking drinks.

Brands which attended included EF Medispa, Comfort Zone, Five Diot Botanics, Hunter Grace London, HARLEY, Africology, Gallinée, 72 Hair, London Grace, along with many other established and start-up beauty brands.

The line up included: Millie Kendall MBE - CEO of British Beauty Council, Co-founder at BeautyMART and BRANDstand Communications; Finance Expert Bobby Lane; Experienced CEO Tracey Woodward; and strategic leadership and business growth consultant Reece Williams.

We discussed the future of this growing sector, the current economy and Brexit, the importance of a business plan and the most common mistakes when setting up a business, minimising risk and maximising growth, PR & Marketing on a start-up budget, technology vs beauty, how to attract the customer of the future, and creating a brand for the conscious consumer.
