What got you into blogging/vlogging, how long ago did you start?
My Mum started off a collective with her brothers & sisters and it looked so interesting, I was always fascinated with all the great things they would do so thought I would give it a try too! We are a very close family, and we love hanging out with each other it so much fun! They all have really inspired me.
Twitter is your biggest social platform. How have you managed to sustain your reach on Twitter seeing as Instagram seems to be taking over now?
I love all my social media platforms however most of my fans message me on Instagram and Twitter - I love seeing what’s new so am always on the hunt for new products and brands - I especially love connecting with my fans! Twitter is a really great way of other fans & brands seeing my profile too!
You have been recognised as 1 of 10 Global Teen Influencers, what has been your experience being a teen blogger?
Yes, I am so privileged and honoured - there are so many kid/teen influencers out there, that are amazing and I love to see all the great things that they do! There is a lot of talent out there - it's great they are allowed to be so creative with it! :) I feel that I am taken seriously and it’s so fab to be working with the brands that I am and have worked with, I'm so lucky that they choose me to support their brand with new campaigns.
How do you balance your influencer life with regular teenager school life?
I go to school and am a normal girl, I don't feel any different to my friends- school is actually one of my favourite things - its fab to learn new things and education is very important to me and I feel you should have fun learning so this helps :D
With being so young, how much control do you have when it comes to your job as an influencer? What professional help do you have?
As my family are all influencers and have experience with this, it really helps to have their advice and direction. They are so great, my mum organises team talks and so myself & JD are able to sit on these and discuss what we are doing and how best to move forward with campaigns
- Find something that you love to do, be it Art, Singing, Cooking you can blog/vlog about anything you want!
- Be creative and find things that are interesting - if your fans and followers love to see what you get up to - then blog and vlog about it!
- Learn from other influencers and see what’s trending and what’s out there - I love looking at what others are doing, it really inspires me
What advice / top tips would you give PRs looking to promote their clients through your blog, YouTube or social accounts?
I am a young girl, growing up and exploring life and am having lots of fun and laughs at the same time! If any of those points fit in with your clients then I would love to hear from you.
