Perfume house Diptyque has announced the launch of its limited edition 2015 winter home fragrance collection, comprising three new candles. The perfume house has invited Julien Colombier, a painter dedicated to mysterious forests and enchanted jungles, to help create the collection. Nature is a constant theme whereby Diptyque draws upon raw materials and the artist draws upon the relationship of lines and shapes, using universal geometry as a basis for smooth or angular forms. The series of designs are available in three fragrances: Sapin (fir tree), offering fragrant resin crystals infused with mandarin and citrusy and woody notes; Liquidambar, which embraces the redness of this large autumnal tree, spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon and clocked in the scent of brown sugar; and Oliban, comprising woody accents set against fresh notes and balmy tones. The collection will be available in November, priced at £28 (70g) and £48 (190g).
