Bauer Media USA has announced the launch of DREW, a new quarterly magazine created in collaboration with Drew Barrymore. The debut issue will be exclusively available for pre-sale at Walmart stores on 14 June for seven days and will hit newsstands nationwide on 21 June. The team will be lead by Christy Doramus, editorial director, and Crystal Meers, editor-at-large.
DREW is a feel-good print product devoted to beauty, love, and fun. Charismatic and relatable, the glossy pages will be filled with colorful photography and stories about life, beauty, travel, food and more.
With Drew at the helm, the editorial team will highlight the people, places, products, and ideas that shine, sharing tips, tricks, and how-tos from those in the know. It is a mix of accessible, aspirational and inspirational content
paired with the friendly and whimsical tone that women everywhere have come to know andlove from the TV and film star.
DREW will open with news directly from Barrymore, including personal feel-good stories and answers to burning questions posed by readers in the Dear Drew column. Premium advertising opportunities are available for clients who want to engage with an audience known for taking action. These pages will engage shoppers and give them a path to purchase in the context of Drew’s accessible voice and practical magic for a seamless shopping experience.
DREW will be available for $9.99 USD at retailers nationwide such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kroger, Lowe’s, Target, Walgreens and many more.
