Former journalist and magazine editor Emily Haddington has left publishing after eight years in the industry. Emily began her journalism career when she became an editor at 22 years old, subsequently heading up various national magazine titles such as Your Herts & Beds Wedding, An Essex Wedding, Hair, and Absolute Bridal. Her decision comes after a period of stress-related ill health in 2018.
Emily has now left publishing and magazine journalism to pursue her own freelance business as a creative copywriter. To date, she has produced copywriting for big brands such as TUI, The Guardian, Holiday Hypermarket, CruiseDeals, Levins Solicitors, JFH Horticultural, AlexandAlexa, Hunter and more. Her work includes point of sale writing, SEO, online articles, blogs, scripts, newsletters, formal documentation, sells, plugs and e-commerce copy.
