Kering has appointed actor and activist Emma Watson as Chair of the Sustainability Committee of the Board of Directors. Also joining Kering's board is Tidjane Thiam as Chair of the Audit Committee. Tidjane was previously CEO of Credit Suisse Group and most recently was appointed African Union Special Envoy on COVID-19. The third appointment to Kering's board is Jean Liu, President of multi-modal mobile transportation platform Didi Chuxing. 

Kering announced the appointments of Emma Watson, Jean Lio and Tidjane Thiam as Directors during its Annual General Meeting on 16 June.
