Luxury womenswear brand, ESCADA has announced the launch of a new flagship store in Chelsea, London. Located at 129 Sloane Street, the store offers the complete ESCADA Mainline and Sport collections, including women’s outerwear, dresses, tailoring, casualwear and accessories. The design concept for the new store was created in collaboration with interior designer Fran Hickman. Hickman’s work draws on an extensive art and design vocabulary in order to create spaces that are elegant, modern and inviting.
Global Design Director, Niall Sloan, who joined ESCADA in August, has designed a capsule knitwear collection exclusively for the opening. The capsule was inspired by both British iconography, as well as the brand’s archive books which share a bold use of red with gold-detailing. The collection will be available in-store and online.
ESCADA has collaborated with the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers to create a unique flower installation and live bouquet demonstration for the store launch. The installation will last throughout November and December, and during this time customers are invited to make a donation to Women for Women in return for bespoke seasonal bouquets. ESCADA will match all proceeds, as well as making its own additional donation to support an organization that empowers women globally.
The store is now open and opening celebrations will take place on the evening of 15 November.
