Online beauty retailer Escentual has launched its first-ever sun cream for kids as part of its SunPoverty campaign. Backed by skincare expert Caroline Hirons the #SunPoverty campaign is giving free sun cream to kids who are on Free School Meals. Escentual Broad Spectrum Protection for Kids SPF50+ is water-resistant for up to four hours and suitable for use after six months of age.
The Escentual Broad Spectrum Protection for Kids SPF50+ comes in a 50ml bottle and is now available at escentual.com, priced at £6.95.
Caroline Hirons said: “Skin cancer is very real, extremely dangerous and on the increase – that’s why I’m supporting Escentual's #SunPoverty campaign. 80% of sun damage happens before the age of 18. Escentual's initiative to abolish VAT on children's sun cream, educate young people on sun safety, and donate thousands of broad-spectrum SPF50+ to children in struggling families is incredibly important."
