Emily Sheffield will replace George Osborne as editor of the Evening Standard. Osborne announced on 12 June that he will be stepping down from editor and moving to a managerial role at the publication as editor-in-chief. Emily re-joined the Evening Standard in 2018 as a columnist after working as deputy editor for British Vogue for 13 years.
She will commence her new role from 1 July.
