The UK’s only specialist women’s watch magazine, Eve’s Watch, has announced that its inaugural Eve’s Watch Awards, dedicated to honouring, celebrating and acknowledging women’s watches, will take place later this year. Building on the success of its website, eveswatch.com, the Eve’s Watch Awards will raise a toast to the brands shaping the landscape for women’s watches, both in the UK and internationally. Honours will be presented across the full spectrum of the women’s watch market; from show stopping high jewellery creations and complex haute horlogerie, to fashionable brands that have captured mass market attention.
The Awards categories include; Best Jewellery Watch, Best Fashion Watch, Best Design, Best Smart Watch, Buyer’s Choice, Best Complication, Collector’s Choice, Best Innovation, Best Unisex Watch, Brand of the Year, Watch of the Year and Woman of the Year.
Twelve of the award categories have been curated and shortlisted by Eve’s Watch. The winners have been chosen by a judging panel, comprising influential, informed and authoritative female watch specialists, journalists and collectors, such as Elizabeth Doerr, Tracey Llewellyn, Avril Groom, Gaia Geddes, Laura McCreddie, Alice Jonsdottir Ferrier (collector), Robyn Kotze, and Jane Trew. The Buyer’s Choice has been chosen by a collective of the most esteemed buyers across leading retailers including Aurum Holdings (Watches of Switzerland, Goldsmiths, Mappin & Web, Watch Hut, Watchshop), Signet Jewelers (H Samuel, Ernest Jones), Amazon and DM London (The Watch Gallery).
In association with media partner Time Inc. UK, the Popular Choice Award, voted for by the readers of InStyle, Marie Claire, woman&home, Livingetc and Country Life as well as those of Eve’s Watch, will also be presented on the night, another first of its kind.
