Joanna Jeffreys has been appointed to handle all publicity for luxury sunglasses brand MØY ATELIER, founded by Betty Bachz and Torunn Lovise Gullaksen.

Betty has worked all over the world as an analyst and consultant for brands,  also an actress and model, she is a well-known face on the UK social scene. Torunn is an award-winning accessories designer with 5 years’ experience in the eyewear industry, where she has designed for a number of brands, amongst them Wood Wood and Sun Buddies, as well as collaborations with Opening Ceremony and  Dover Street Market.

MØY’s debut collection consists of 16 stand-out models of oversized sunglasses handcrafted in Japan. By merging ancient Asian jewellery making techniques with influence from the music and avant garde art scene of the 70’s, we have created four trademark shapes; Nobody’s Darling, Sense of Sonder, Erudite and Naked Heart. Made of 12 carat gold-plated stainless steel rims, nylon lenses and exclusive Italian acetate to create luxury and exclusivity. A half-rim seamlessly attaches to a thin gold bridge, equipped with adjustable nose pads for a custom fit to all nose shapes. A gold hot stamp print on the inverted side of the temple reveals the signature MØY logo. On the tip of the thin 12 carat gold temple, a curved piece of extraordinary fine Italian acetate finishes off the design with exquisite detail. Launching in April, prices range from £370 to £520.
