Launching on 8 June, Hunky Dory is a new biannual fashion and culture magazine where the past and the present collide. The independent publication explores and celebrates a new generation’s nostalgic yearnings through a contemporary lens. Hunky Dory is for young women who revel in retro, appreciate the present and look forward to the future.
For its debut, The 70s Issue, the title focuses upon fashion and culture from the golden era of style, which continues to evolve and excite today. and will feature insightful content as well as a variety of creatives including folk singer and song-writer Izzie Derry; founder of Biba, Barbara Hulanicki; artist and former fashion editor of Nova magazine, Molly Parkin; dancer, Dee Dee Wilde, from Pans People; artist and author Sue Tilley; illustrator, Malcolm Bird and graphic designer, Bill Graham.
Contributors include writers Whitney Harrison, Natalie Blain, Jamie Windust and Emily Downing Smith as well as illustrator, Rowan Bailey.
