Health and fitness brand Fitbit has announced the launch of Fitbit Alta, a slim, sleek fitness wristband. The Fitbit Alta wristband can be personalised to fit individual style, while advanced health and fitness features make tracking workouts easier. The band can track steps, distance, calories burned and active minutes, while also delivering positive motivation. Fitbit Alta is available for £99.99 for pre-sale at Fitbit.com. The tracker will be available in North America beginning in March, with global availability from April. At launch, Alta will be available in a black, blue, teal or plum high-performance fitness band with a satin finish, silver stainless steel tracker; while a shiny gold stainless steel tracker option will be coming soon.
