Amira Hashish, formerly executive editor at the Evening Standard, has been appointed director of content & communications at Heatherwick Studio. As part of her role Amira will launch a publishing department and oversee all global content and communications for the creative powerhouse whose landmark designs include Google campuses around the world, the Vessel in New York's Hudson Yards, 1000 Trees development in Shanghai and Coal Drops Yard in London. 

Leading a multifaceted team of writers, filmmakers, books producers, talks organisers and communications executives she will bring stories that matter to life through studio produced digital and print media, film, audio, events, books and experiences. She is interested in receiving information on design, travel, wellness, food & drink, style, tech and sustainability. 

Amira will also continue with her freelance commitments as host of the Travel and Design Lounge events for Soho House and contributor to publications including the Evening Standard, Suitcase Magazine and Waitrose Weekend.
