Freelancers in the fashion industry can now join trade union Bectu

Freelance staff working in the fashion industry are now able to join a trade union for the creative industries. Bectu. With 40,000 members across music, film, television and other creative disciplines, it has now opened its doors to fashion assistants and freelancers.
Bectu membership includes protection, independent advice and support at work, paying of legal fees, negotiation of pay, terms and conditions, and huge discounts on public liability insurance.
