French fashion magazine, Madame Figaro, has announced it has launched in Hong Kong. After Japan and China, the Hong Kong edition marks the publication’s long-awaited initiative to tap into the Asian market over decades. The creative team aspires to champion the spirit and flair of Madame Figaro’s brand by exploring fashion and art in the perspectives of millennials and generation Z, marrying the Euroasian cultures and local communities. Backed by the local media behemoth, New Media Group, quarterly print magazine will come alongside with the brand’s digital platforms, maintaining a premium reading experience.
Madame Figaro HK will be led by experienced media veteran Joey Chan, founding captain of two important fashion titles in town - +One and Ming’s magazines. Joey stresses on authenticity in content and focuses on the development of multimedia platforms. Such endeavours, she believes, can drive young creative talents through establishing a steadfast community.
Madame Figaro HK is now available online at madamefigaro.hk and in selected local newsstands and bookstores.
