French Sole has announced a collaboration with London department store Liberty. In celebration of Liberty's 140 Years of Fabric, French Sole founder and designer, Jane Winkworth, was asked to design a unique collection of her classic ballet flats, using iconic Liberty prints; marrying the two British brands. The first collection, which has been modelled by London-based English model and blogger Ella Catliff, will be launching at liberty.co.uk this month, and at French Sole stores and frenchsole.com in August, with a French Sole Ballet Bar taking pride of place on Liberty’s third floor in October this year. The collection features limited edition printed boxes, hand-­stitched Liberty print shoe bags to accompany the shoes, while a co-­branded insole brings together the collaboration in full.
