Gap has announced the launch of Gap Teen, to target Gen Z. The range is made up of planet-friendly styles for the generation with each item containing at least one sustainable component. The first capsule collection takes an artistic approach to Gap’s heritage denim, fading it down or tie-dying it to summer perfection that incorporates a fresh breath of summer neutrals and indigos.
The denim pieces are part of Gap's water-saving Washwell program, which uses 20% less water than a conventional wash, the t-shirts and woven tanks are made from organically grown cotton. Whilst the ruffle romper is made with Lenzing EcoVero, a fiber produced using the pulp derived from certified renewable wood sources and the tie-dye denim skirt is made with at least 5% post-consumer recycled cotton.
